Terese Castile, Founder
Terese is the visionary founder and owner of GP Embroidery, a vibrant brand born from one mom’s creative spark and a desire to bring more imagination to everyday wear. When her oldest son, JW, needed something more unique than the mass-produced kids’ clothes on the market, Terese took matters — and thread — into her own hands. What started as a personal mission to craft custom embroidery for her children quickly evolved into a full-fledged business that now brings personalized joy to families across the country.
Before swapping Capitol Hill for custom stitchwork, Terese spent seven dynamic years in Washington, D.C., building a career in politics. Her time in the nation’s capital sharpened her ability to navigate high-pressure environments, think strategically, and build meaningful connections — skills she’s carried into the heart of GP Embroidery.
Now based in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan, Terese lives with her husband Evan, their two energetic sons, JW and George, and their beloved bernedoodle, Gronk. GP Embroidery has become more than a business — it’s a creative movement. From interactive embroidery activation events that allow kids and adults alike to design their own pieces, to collaborations that span coast to coast, Terese has transformed her passion into a brand that celebrates creativity, community, and the magic of thoughtful detail.

Olivia Hedges, Embroidery Design Consultant
Olivia is excited and honored to join the GP Embroidery team as she begins this new chapter in her creative journey. A proud mom of two young girls, Olivia lives in her hometown of Plymouth, Michigan—a place that holds a special spot in her heart. Born and raised there, she’s deeply connected to the local community and loves being able to contribute to it through her creative work.
As a stay-at-home mom, Olivia has always sought meaningful ways to blend her love of family with her passion for creativity. What began as a fun hobby—designing and customizing clothes for her daughters—quickly blossomed into a deep appreciation for the art of embroidery. She finds joy in transforming simple materials into something beautiful and personal, and she’s thrilled to now bring that same care and creativity to GP Embroidery's clients.
Outside of her work, Olivia and her family cherish their time together at Walloon Lake, where they unwind, explore, and soak in Michigan’s natural beauty. Whether it’s boating, picnicking, or simply watching the sunset, those moments of togetherness inspire much of her creative energy.
With a warm heart and a keen eye for detail, Olivia is eager to help bring your vision to life—whether it's a custom piece for a special occasion or a thoughtful gift for someone you love. She looks forward to collaborating with clients and being part of something meaningful, one stitch at a time.
